WELCOME TO OUR COMMUNITY BLOG SITE
This Community Blog has been set up to serve the Greater Glencairn Valley and Simon’s Town community with information that you, the residents, might hopefully find useful. First and foremost the Community Blog will continue to be used to post security information of interest to the various Neighbourhood Watches in the Deep South. In addition, it will be used for issuing other community related blog posts.
It can now also be used to provide you with background information on local topics such as Environmental issues and New Planned Developments in the area. We have already added a page with Emergency & other useful contact phone numbers.

If you would like to comment on any blog post, please use the comment facility on the site. However to prevent abuse, all posts and comments will be moderated before publication on the site.
Please check this Community Blog regularly for the latest information on security and other issues concerning our area. It would be a great help, if you would be so kind to pass on any information to neighbours, who do not have internet access.
