Completion of roadworks on Boyes Drive delayed until 30 March The repair work on Boyes Drive, which recommenced on 22 March 2012, has been delayed and will not be completed by 27 March 2012 as previously communicated. Work will be completed on Friday 30 March 2012, weather permitting. The work has been delayed due to the contractor experiencing problems with the delivery of rubber bitumen by the supplier. Notification of works on Boyes Drive commencing Monday, 3rd October 2011 The Contractor is to commence with work on essential repairs to Boyes Drive on Monday, 3rd October 2011. It is anticipated that the repairs will take between five and seven days to complete. Please be advised of the following: During this operation the Contractor will employ a one-way system on Boyes Drive for northbound traffic between the hours of 09h00 to 16h00 for the section from Clairvaux Road to Old Boyes Drive. Dear Interested and Affected Party On behalf of the project team, we would like to convey our sincere apologies for misinformation contained in yesterday’s notification with respect to the changeover of works to the northbound lane. We would like to clarify the following: – Asphalt milling is underway on Main Road between Sandhurst and Leighton Roads and should be completed by the end of Friday, 6th May 2011, subject to no mechanical failure. On Thursday 5th May 2011, traffic will be transferred from the mountainside to the sea side along the section of Main Road between Sandhurst Road and Leighton Road, to allow reconstruction to take place on the mountainside of the road. Dear Interested and Affected Party This is to inform of you that night work is set to take place tomorrow Wednesday, 19 January 2011, from 21h00 to 04h30. Tuboseal (the subcontractor of the contractor Civils 2000) will be working on manholes on Main Road adjacent to Sandhurst Road and Heytor Road to complete the patch lining.
