Current Situation:
Update August 2011:
Planning Partners have withdrawn their application for an amendment to the Simon’s Town Structure Plan, Rezoning and Subdivision: Erf 60 Glencairn, Simon’s Town.

Position at March 2011:
The development was refused permission on environmental grounds by the Provincial Department of Environmental and Development Planning (DEA&DP) on 26th November 2009.
The developer appealed this decision, but the Minister subsequently upheld it on 22nd November 2010.
The developer also applied to the City of Cape Town for Planning Permission, but this cannot be granted without the applicant first receiving environmental approval.
The development is therefore at a stand still unless the developer takes the case on Review in Court.
